More than anything else, the Don't Miss These Books series is designed to encourage the love of great books and stories as essential preparation for future courses in the language arts, while giving 4th and 5th-grade students the opportunity to explore ideas and use their imaginations in the context of class discussion. Class discussions incorporate biblical concepts and principles, encouraging students to understand beauty, goodness and truth in the context of God's Word.
